I am going to acquire my first property shortly and I need some questions answered about house hacking and the process from start to finish

@Jack Carrozzi yeah, a realtor will be able to show you 2-4 unit properties (that's what we filter the search by - the number of "units").  Now, the realtor will need to know you are qualified...and that's where a lender comes into play.  One thing I wish I understood was that the income of the property would help me qualify for more of a property.  I started out house hacking...so that was a while ago now...and the internet wasn't really a thing.  So, finding out information was harder and I just purchased the property I thought I could afford rather than purchasing the property that was supported by rental income.  It all worked out though.  No complaints.
