I'm a new real estate investor living in San Diego CA, I'm an Attorney and MBA with experience in business and entrepreneurship, but new to real estate investment (except from my own house which was a short sale bought in 2008 for $320K with 10% down, which I fixed and use as my own residence, the following year I refinanced it eliminating PMI and lowering the interest rate to 3.37%, and today is worth aprox. $550K, perhaps it was just luck since I was just doing the best I could with no specific knowledge of REI).
