I am stepping into this field from experience in health field , I hope to learn from you all  .

My 2 biggest concerns are having enough money stashed away to survive while we get a business going, (although I would not have a problem with picking up a cashiers job somewhere so we would have health insurance) and the financing to buy the business.

neither myself or my wife are working because of her health and my circumstances have taken me out of my normal occupation of driving truck, so at this time i only work part time and have a lot of time to learn what i can to start investing....  

I am looking forward to learning even more from the BP site but more so from this amazing community.I currently work for a non-profit with a focus on health and wellness, youth development and social responsibility.  

Guys have been there for 10 years and she told me that she took battery out of smoke alarm because it goes off  when she is making grilled cheese :).

The other realtor talked me out of student housing because her students drove an SUV into a dining room and others took batteries out of the CO and smoke detector to put in their controls!!!

We are far from perfect, and our winters are not everyone’s favourite climate, but on an international level it is hard to beat the safety, opportunity, education, health care, natural resources, and financial stability which Canada has to offer.

I am sure there are people with health problems, job problems, divorces, deaths in the family, etc where ever you are.

I am a home health physical therapist and I drive around rural ala alabama all day and know small cities very well that most would not. 

I'm starting out my investing in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio because I've lived here for three years and I think I understand the market and its drivers, and prices continue to appreciate.I see real estate investing as a way to build a base of passive income to make sure I can take care of my family if their health or the economy fall on hard times.
