For example if someone wants to invest would you rather have them fill out a form online and easily complete the subscription agreement and wire the funds in one step, or see it on your site, email you, then have you send them the documents, then have them review the documents, then have them execute the documents, you countersign the documents, then coordinate wire instructions....Investor journey has to be as easy as possible - harder it is, less you will raise.

There's a few guys I like to watch - Graham Stephen used to be a lot better - it's all marketing, they realize they make more money from the classes/mentorships/paid subscriptions than actually investing in real estate, so they go for the clicks and the views over everything else.

That broker will then allow you access to the MLS either through their subscription, or as a sub-user of their subscription (be sure to inquire as you're interviewing brokers how they handle personal transactions--as this seems to be important to you and every brokerage treats differently!).

Many real estate classes offer their packages which include education, training, summits, expos, workshops and real estate software all at very steep rates...While I agree with the value in a lot of this and the mentors and networking relationships are great, but the seminars & business models seem over priced to hook you into a pricey monthly subscription & charge per cents per each skip tracing click..
