Are you not able to give proper notice (whatever timeframe your lease states) and then go send someone to enter the property and see it in person?

Get it in writing that they are month to month and have to give 30 days' notice. 

For example, if the legal name of the LLC is MY COMPANY, LLC, a Texas limited liability company, then the legal name used for the EIN application is MY COMPANY LLC [notice the comma was omitted on the EIN application as IRS.gov does not permit the use of special characters).

I haven't noticed any services that handle appealing property tax assessments in the Bay Area here.

Also, have you noticed homes in that area renting unfurnished?

@Karolina PowellI don't ever do that many at once, but I have noticed recently that title companies just aren't as good about communication in general as they used to be. 

Well that's what I'm trying to figure out, from a room-mate perspective, if the decrease in what the two non en-suite bedrooms needing to share a bathroom with a third (fourth in total) roommate is worth the extra rent I could charge.
