I do care if they have child support and aren't paying that.

Parents especially will be willing to pay more for a well maintained home for their child (in most cases).

We plan to spend a lot of time in CR ourselves - our youngest child is just off to college, so we are spending a month there now, and hope to make longer trips in the future! 

I have called several PM groups trying to rent an apartment at LSU for my child.  

Looking for some kind of liability insurance she can obtain that will cover us from any twists, keeping in mind that if a child got bit in the face, even accidentally by a confused dog, the lifetime cost a jury might award would be in the millions, I'm sure.Any Ideas?

If you had a hurt or sick child, you're going to take them to the hospital, even if you can't afford to pay the resulting bill of $350 for an aspirin or $500 for a splint - which will then kill your credit score.

One time an angry tenant (he thought he was getting his entire deposit back that day) ran after my car spitting and swearing while my youngest child was with me.  

The mother died of drug overdose as well as her 2 year old child (most likely took his life with her, as she committed suicide).

Then, when it's time for daddy to get paid off the child comes in and has no proof of payments and when that is obtained they can't qualify because they relied on daddy's love and affection instead of good business practices.
