Another remedy: sterile hazelnut shells as a top dressing, sold in nurseries by the bag... cats don't like the feel of them underfoot.Make sure you're compensated up front for allowing the tenant the privilege of keeping the pet.

It might more advantageous to turn it into a walk-in closet, a nursery, or an office.

Did you go to a nursery or hardware store to help determine what you needed for your retaining wall?

The smaller 10’ x 15’ retreat is located off the master bedroom, perfect to utilize as a boutique gym, nursery, or office.

I have been told to avoid the "nursery rhyme" road names as these are the higher crime areas, but otherwise, there are some decent areas in this zip code for investors.

And we sold water rights to the Yamhill river down stream to a big nursery company.. so it was all in all a very good play.. plus we got to hunt on it and just enjoy it as a ranch.   

We also have nurseries and turf farms.  

Go find a local nursery that specializes in native plants & see what ideas they have.
