I found that using runners in the units and saying the carpet was just shampooed and it may be damp is a strong hint to mom and dad to tell the kids to stay on the runners and they do to.

Well, I actually worked at a dead end job at a pool supply store, when I started wanting to earn more money, so I scoured the ads (craigslist, newspaper) until I found a job at a Land Development firm, the description being for a runner (meaning basically I'd pick up and drop off documents).

I saw a post on Craigslist recently for a Runner/Assistant Property Manager for a company called Wedgewood in the Phoenix area and I have yet to hear back but I am wondering if it would be a good idea to have a W2 job working in a real estate relevant job and if I will learn things that will get me to where I want to be as an investor with my own company.
