Around 2006 I joined my father in a construction company that he started half out of boredom. we would buy small acreage tracts and subdivide, pre-sell a portion of the lots, install roads and utilities, then build homes on the remaining lots that we held.When the market turned we nearly lost it all, and the only thing that saved the ship was the rentals.
