Usually a google search will reveal a lot but definitely try to verify anything you may see there. 

After you know who you're dealing with, a title search reveals obstacles like back taxes or unpaid utilities, mortgages, mechanic's liens, cloudy municipal easements, claims from mysterious heirs, and so on.

When you analyzed the market in the purchase, did the rental market reveal higher vacancy rates or rental supply in the area?

A quick search in the "Networking Events" section of this website, will be sure to reveal a few upcoming events around the state.I would suggest taking a look at the NHREIA group out of Manchester (full disclosure:  I am affiliated with and do serve on the board of this group), as it tends to be well-attended and you'll be able to meet with a lot of other investors and other professionals servicing the real estate industry.  

All I will say is that I don't reveal that kind of info on a public forum, but REI has treated me very well.

I agree.They cannot understand why the required annual inspections now reveal violations that existed when they made the purchase and why they must now provide both in order to sell the property.I am spending a lot of time cleaning up the mess.
