Hi Nick, I've got to say without a doubt you were at the same auctions I've been going to on and off for years (more off than on, usually when I'm looking which I'm not right now, I'll simply check the Daily Reporter listings for the RARE higher $$ one and then see if its one of the minute % of them that have bids even worth bidding on and IF that all goes through, THEN I'd go but I've never found the least bit of "fun" or "excitement" there, it is boring as hell!)

Then they will also be unprofitable and they will sell them, it is a vicious cycle and there’s simply too many STR‘s in the Poconos right now, the demand isn’t there and basically no one is making any profits off STR right now in the Poconos, they’re basically all losing money month over month on STREven right now in peak Summer season, most of my friends places are barely booked: they have low occupancy rates, and when they are booked, it’s only because they had to lower their prices extremely low like $100 per night.

Is it better that the seller's mortgage gets paid (by someone else) and the property turned into a rental or should the seller simply 'walk away" and stop making payments and the property become vacant ?
