I am now summarizing the key points for managing rental properties to build my systems before launch ( I am strongly considering Rent-Redi software) but I am wondering how I would use this software for client's properties when collecting rent, holding deposits and the like.

What I've gathered from speaking with the previous owners realtors, is that the husband and wife went through a divorce proceeding back around 2014, the husband agreeing to quit claim the property to the wife, in return for her within 1 year refinancing him off the loan.In a brief conversation with the husband, he seemed to confirm that the quit claim was signed, but by her, because he had given her POA on the house (for which there is public record filed regarding the POA).

I am not sure, as a larger portfolio and our software connections the way we get paid sometimes varies.

Hi Namal - About a year ago I went searching for online property management software for the sole purpose of receiving online payments (I don't use any of the other features). 

That seems like a strict requirement of needing to keep the home for a year to use the owner builder direction, but I would confirm that before fully going forward as the GC.
