Long Island is quite strange because NYC, JC, and CT are right next door, yet LI's fundamentals are making my head spin.Both in NYC and Long Island, the net income from job would be about the same after the LIRR/MTA/city tax factored in.

Then it's a bit of a strange situation negotiating how to pay him as I wouldn't want to pay a realtor commission, and how much of his time I can use/how quickly he will respond to my requests to see a property, etc.
