I have read several books on the matter ("Long-Distance Real Estate Investing" by David Greene, "The Millionaire Real Estate Investor" by Gary Keller, etc.), however I would like to open a discussion to fellow BP members on their experiences.Currently my objective has been to study the markets and demographics of different areas and find one that suits me best.

my niece just hung her hat at keller williams. she's still new, she might be able to help or maybe even find someone you would like to work with.I, also, am thinking about buying some houses in the stone mountain area near redan road.

I'm a real estate agent with Keller Williams Chicago-Lakeview.My wife and I own our house, which was a $20k flip that I did (most) of the work myself before we were married.

I say this to express my motivation and level of commitment to doing my best and really wanting to learn.With all that said, I come here because while I can always go to the Keller Williams and Coldwells of the world, considering I'm starting part time, I believe it may be better for me to start with a broker who has hopefully had some of that big outfit experience, but has a smaller operation so he/she can better nurture me and help me and ultimately their business to develop.
