If a renter damages YOUR fridge, it's not covered. 

That fridge purchased 4 years ago probably isn't worth what you paid for it initially....

Hi Bigger Pockets PossePrior Coronado San Diego based Veteran & Father of two boys (one who is currently driving letters all over our stainless fridge) from Pomona CA.

I'm dealing with the same issue with an old fridge.

Also, saying that major appliances are included--if you are going to rent a home and NOT including a fridge or stove or oven then GOOD LUCK finding a tenant who will bring their own FRIDGE lol...Also, I don't know why a tenant would care if the fridge is new, or that there's a door wall, vinyl windows, or that the cabinets are updated or the microwave and range/oven are "upgrades."

Example there are 2 female nurses working on my floor right now that are both living in a hotel about 5 minutes away, its a 3/5 star hotel with a pool.. but no kitchen, just mini fridge and tv.. they are paying in the range of $1,200/month to stay there each for the 3 months they are here on assignment.

They didnt clean anything and left a bunch of useless stuffs that we had to tossed like a cheap old dryer and a fridge.

I also replaced the fridge and range in one of the units and added dishwashers to both.

So, you want to pay for that fridge, dishwasher, furnace, AC, etc out of pocket when you’re barely in the property?!

And they leave a mess in every room including a fridge full of food.
