I do my tracking in an excel table and I am thinking of cutting some fat off of it.  

I've found "TLC" (Not fixer uppers, but burner downers) multifamily properties, I don't want to sink a mint into it.

I've been interested in real estate investing for a long time, and have taken the idea off the back burner. 

Fat fingers.

I'm looking to cut the fat so to speak and go from information overload to forming a game plan and getting started.  

To make sure they are saleable, they need to conform to certain rules, just the way whole milk has to have 3.5% fat, whether you buy a quart or a gallon.Portfolio lenders do not sell their mortgages notes.  

I do one or two houses at a time with long gaps in between, and as a result my job typically gets back-burnered by contractors who don't see real opportunity for repeat business.

I'm not enjoying the idea of adding more time to help someone else's dreams continue while mine go on the back burner.

They didn't bother to find out over the phone it was just 1 burner, and pushing  it in tighter towards the center  of the stove top fixed it. 

These days I try to pay to do things that are getting harder for me to do - get in and out of crawlspaces, because I'm getting old and fat, for example - or are too labor-intensive to take on.
