I am not sure but definitely very unsettling. 

It's very unsettling - I need the money for the mortgage.

The best way to describe it was greedy, patronizing and unsettling for him to even request that I do such a thing. 

The other situation is your situation where they brought the dog in not telling you, did say they can increase the deposit and then two days later were probably just talking and said that you could not do anything if it was a service dog; which gives me an unsettled feeling.

But that is still unsettling to me that she hasn't put that in writing, and wants to wait for the appraisal.

But this last month I had a situation where my tenant (who's in the unsettling construction industry) couldn't get paid from a job and gave me his notice that he had to move because he was way too unsure about when, if ever, he'd get paid.

Then shake hands and walk away.And if the seller can't find a better deal and still needs to sell, they'll call you when they've educated themselves rather than you having to force them to deal with their cognitive dissonance. 

Having limited knowledge about how this all works is somewhat  unsettling and given that I don't have the same amount of time on my side for making mistakes (and recovering from them) as a younger person would - it seems foolish to throw caution to the wind and dive in because something "looks like a good deal" on the surface.

:) I won't lie, the thought of door knocking unsettles me.
