I rearranged my schedule and made it work.  

@August Olgren that’s amazing, due to a pretty bad divorce case that destroyed my credit a few years back, I have practically clawed my way back in better standing in terms of credit, I have a substantial down but sadly since I have been self employed for some time and rearranged my game plan with my multiple businesses, I’m going to have go through an HML.I appreciate your advice as well as everyone else’s, I will definitely be reaching out to HML’s

Once I'm gone, I'd also rent the top part and the basement separately (only logistic issue we have so far are that the laundry/washer are located in the basement and I'd have to re-arrange them for the tenant upstairs but this isn't a problem) because this is the only way I'd actually make a return on my investment.

Space was awkward and I had to re-arrange the layout.

@Tom Gimer- this does seem like a conflict of interest to me as well so I’m leaning in the direction of rearranging the travel to be there for the closing.

I need to get rid of mold in the basement, finish off the basement space, replace the roof, do some minor landscaping, open up the main floor, rearrange the bathrooms, and then of course update everything.

Bottom line if finding your kitchen stuff or furniture rearranged every time you go to the house bugs you, then STR is not for you for that house.
