I believe that you can take a picture of your keys and they will store these online in the event that you need to replace or need to order duplicates, at which time you can do so through the app or via your local locksmith.

I was told that apparently, it’s technically not breaking and entering if you have a locksmith open the door for you since the locksmith takes it on good faith that you live there when you ask them to let you back in.From what I have seen she has been generally compliant and has left the premise during the course of several inspections (with some cash incentive from the seller’s agent for her trouble).

Examples:  Rekeying units after tenant move outs- charged me double what the locksmith quoted me when I called directly- claimed it was because the units had special locks and they are "setting them up to be rekeyed easily in the future".

Usually these are set up by a locksmith because the people at Lowes and Home Depot don't know how to do it.I would recommend you provide your landlord a copy of your key for emergencies.
