Saving Your Spare Keys In the Cloud: KeyMe

I was recently introduced to a company whose product I think it pretty cool, called Key.me. I believe that you can take a picture of your keys and they will store these online in the event that you need to replace or need to order duplicates, at which time you can do so through the app or via your local locksmith.

The file associated with the key doesn't include any kind of address information, so it seems like they do have security in mind as well.

What do you think? Do you see the value here?

Convenience comes at a price, and this price is loss of freedoms - we are seeing this play out everywhere. No way in hell would I post my tenant's key or my own on line...Like I need more headaches
