Can you break into your own home?
I just met with a motivated seller. He drove up from FL to meet me in Indy to buy his house. Got there and realized he didn't have the right key. He didn't have money for a locksmith. Told me he had an idea and grabbed a tire iron. Smashed out the glass on a door reached in and unlocked it. I verified his DL with owner on tax records. But it got me wondering.... I took a video as well so there was no doubt about who "broke in".

So they guy drove from FL to IN to break into a random persons house and blame it on you? I wouldn't be concerned, its most likely his and after a long drive the last thing he probably wanted to fiddle with was getting a blacksmith to get it unlocked. Was breaking glass on the door the smartest way to get access? Likely not but to late for that now. I will be honest a lot of the motivated sellers I have met aren't exactly related to Einstein if you catch my drift.
