Not very familiar with McDonald expect the few time strawberry picking in the area.

I think they are good for cash flow On the west side I want to say Strawberry Mansion could see some gentrification in the coming years, but you really need to get in touch with a few local agents and PMs who can give you a more realistic feel for the neighborhoods.Good LuckKunal M.

It's still a reasonable commute to Tampa, but you can buy a small farm (10 acres or less) and grow strawberries (or whatever else will grow). 

However, the area is very strict on water supply and the farms in the area are of heavy pesticide usage, (strawberries and artichokes) which seems strange in such a ecofriendly state as California.  

Then you'll be in Strawberry Mansion, which is getting better, but if safety is a large concern, just be wary.

There are usually a few freezes that scare all the strawberry and citrus farmers during the Winter season, but, it never really goes below 32 degrees for more than a few hours.
