I'm new to BP, but not new to investing. My name is Darius, I am from Minneapolis, MN and am looking to get back in to REI. I've bought, owned, and sold a number of properties (3 SFH, condo,...

I even had a wonderful stranger on here agree to give me 100k for a property I wasn't going to see till closing.

They are well behaved, great with kids, bark at strangers...but sometimes they get bored and decide they want to eat all the shrubs or lawn furniture or the kid's slide or the fence or the siding- or try to dig a hole to China.

.); no sense in driving away someone who would be glad to take it if they'd only seen it once it was clean and painted.Also, I don't want to let strangers inside my tenant's unit that I will not be able to hold accountable if something breaks or goes missing.

Do the same thing you are doing here, keep your eyes and ears open, turn your BS Meter way up and enjoy the ride, and be wary of strangers asking you for money in exchange for their "foolproof systems".

Ask that they keep an eye out for any suspicious activity, like the sound of breaking glass or strangers lurking around.

I wouldn't think so, but stranger things have happened. 

It's a neat yet an odd experience for me to meet with a stranger just to talk about something we are mutually passionate about.
