Due to the climate (Mojave Desert), the construction materials used in single-family properties make them very low maintenance.

Two part question:Should we build a Adu with the expectation to rent as AirBnB even thou we are not in a special community like (beach, mountains, desert, downtown, etc...) ???

While occasional precipitation and wind can occur, the desert climate keeps it relatively dry with low humidity and a small chance of rain.

Any recommendations on who could help with these plans would be much appreciated, preferably someone local to the Inland Empire or High Desert area. 

Many people sacrifice to live in near perfect climate with ocean, mountains, and desert all available.  

My new house in the Arizona desert area came with it for a small area in the backyard.

We recently shopped a flip deal in Palm Desert.

Like, in winter if a property is empty you have to make sure to send someone in to set the thermostat and keep faucets dripping, that issue doesn't happen in the desert states but then you have to keep your AC Maintained. 

In Las Vegas, which is in the Mojave Desert (the hottest and driest desert in the US), mud rooms do not exist.

Of course the rent is lower than market rate, but for Thanksgiving every year they make the current owner my favorite desert...pumpkin pie.
