As of today, the tenant has disappeared, so the owner asked (through my wife the translator) if he should keep recruiting tenants.

I'm recruiting him to mentor with me and eventually go in with me on a deal or two.It is just going to suck for a while but I am going to have to 'embrace the suck' as they say in the service. 

Then when others are recruited you will have decided what you will bring to the table and be responsible for, and what is expected of them.

Or recruiting a top contractor be?

I’ll see if I can shoot a couple emails to some of the recruiters on that site and see what I get back.

Everything is a group with 30 plus other people, his va assistants also suck for his teaching business, hard to reach anyone or get responses. ...I find his recruiting pitch to new people very disingenuous.

Before the show starts I circulate the other vendors and try to recruit them to send me anyone who mentions selling their property.  

Never considered to them about either recruiting better crews or training them better/differently.Seriously, you do realize that you can get a loan and NOT have escrows, right?
