Land a job in CRE Acquisitions

Hi Everyone,

I am looking to make a career change to the commercial real estate space under a good firm and I want to know what would be the best strategy to go about doing so.

I graduated in 2015 with a Finance degree but went the entrepreneur route to learn new skills and build other income streams that can supplement my job and lead me ultimately to financial freedom. I coached soccer part time while wholesaling and house hacking. Unfortunately Coaching soccer was not very lucrative and strained me from a capital standpoint especially when I went into the wholesaling business.

I want to get a job as real estate acquisitions analyst. Would you suggest I take on more debt and get a masters in Real Estate to accomplish this? I'm torn on whether I should self educate and network or go to school and get a more "recognized" credentials on my resume to break in the industry.

Can anyone in the industry give some feedback!

Long term, I'd like to have my own commercial real estate investing firm.

You can always get a job as an analyst and get trained. Start applying to jobs and see what happens. I don't think another degree is really necessary here.
