If you're going to try to make a buck in this property class, it's best to forget larger-scale idealism and turning whole hoods around and focus on making small, incremental change, sometimes enthusiastically supported by the local government and police, sometimes not.

I was enthusiastic about real estate and I had a long term goal in mind.

This is the same group that organized 450 landlords at Turning Stone Casino over the summer, and this time we are looking to assemble over 1,000 landlords, agents, managers, vendors, etc. show up at the state house in Albany, and we need you to come join us!

There is one good sized employer there and there are rumblings of a casino coming to town, but that would be a few years down the road *if* it happens. 

You would be better off at the casino.
