Same in your case, things get dropped all the time during reno, contractors do their best to plug the lines but some things happen, and if your not using the utilities the way a family would, well then u guessed it you would never know unless u send a camera down them.

Some tenants are still not okay having strangers coming in (which is understandable IMO) so we’ve been using a few different methods: virtual showings (someone like your agent, the current owner, their PM, the listing agent or even the tenant FaceTimes you/Zooms you while they’re at the property), virtual 3D tours using a matterport camera, tenant takes a bunch of photos themselves, etc.

Other things you should check in an inspection are: make sure all emergency shutoffs are working for the house and all fixtures, check hoses to fixtures to make sure there are no leaks, check the static pressure on the house to make sure there are no leaks, and camera the sewer pipe.
