Networking for shy people
Hi! I am new to real estate. I have not purchased any properties yet. What’s holding me back is capital. I want to network and meet like mind people to help me raise capital or help me get started. I am more afraid of the interaction with people then the deals. I am nervous about getting my self out there and networking. Any suggestions on books, websites, etc to help overcome fears?

A lot of real estate investors are introverts. Though when you catch the real estate bug shyness dissipates and it becomes the equivalent of people who are on the level of being vegan or do CrossFit - you can't shut them up about it!
I don't know of any books that would help but joining a public speaking group like Toastmasters International would likely help a person with his or her shyness as it's a communication and public speaking group.
