I once found a big pile of poop with soiled newspaper in a walk-in closet of the master bedroom just 5-6 feet away from the bathroom/toilet. 

You can make a smaller radius but for some reason, Facebook will not approve a special ad category with a small radius as they consider that a violation of the fair housing act, which is why they stopped allowing the zip code approach.I treat my ads like billboards, radio, tv, and newspaper ads.

Now "this data stuff" im guessing  you are "old-school " and "still get the newspaper delivered because you like how it feels in your hands" or rather call than email or text "because is so much personal" ?

@Jacob Stokes While it can be hard to price a rental if there are no/limited comps, I’m not sure a newspaper and yard signs (or lack thereof) are the best gauge.

Some of the criteria I use :-Majority of contents and valuables removed -Utilities off-Have neighbors seen any recent activity -Mail or newspapers gathering -Obviously behind on rentThis is an area where you need to use your own judgment and take a risk assessment.

Websites like Craigslist or your local newspaper might have advertisements for people holding garage sales or For Sale By Owners (FSBO) where you can check out a couple on a Saturday as you drive for dollars.

Used to be that adds in the newspaper were free.

Read every book, newspaper, magazine you can get your hands on, and study every virtual seminar you can access.

For example, my County has a legal newspaper that publishes this information.
