Kind of on the LO to keep the conversation in nice segmented boxes, but it's hard; the way I TRY do this is "first, we will talk about conventional on a duplex..." and then we ONLY talk about that, no questions about any other scenario until that part of the conversation is 100% done, no exceptions.
