I have a tablet and no laptop so can I used it on the tablet plus do I have to used online services and is it worth it.

My laptop went dark so only have my phone right now.

Here's one way:Yes a PDF can be loaded into a Kindle, but they often do not read very well since the Kindle screen is smaller than a laptop or tablet.  

I used to download files that I received by e-mail, transfer them to a thumbdrive, print and scan them using a community printer, return to my room, transfer the pdf back to my laptop, then reply to the e-mail.
