Most projects are not the same (unless duplicate construction like a subdivision/cookie cutter houses).

Many times stuff like that keeps the kids busy so the parents can just relax.Also kind of along the lines as what @John Underwood maybe provide some already rigged up fishing poles for fishing off the pier.  

Apparently, the people who owned the condo next to that one had rigged an electrical bypass and were running up a bill on the vacant unit; they are now long gone.

Checking with the departments one by one for each land listing that looks promising seems very inefficient.Regarding costs, i hear build costs of containers vs stick built being similar, but I had wondered if that is taking all aspects into consideration like build time, foundation and site prep requirements, etc. yes, steel cutters and welders are a special trade but the structure can arrive pre-built and potentially just sit on concrete pier foundations if the soil and zoning allows.

If it just needs the reset button pushed, and/or a typical unjamming of the cutter blades, that's about three minutes work, and I would not bother.

I think the thought is to drag it out to the point that the project itself is no longer feasible financially especially if the developer is going to be responsible for cleaning up the land due to the oil rig.

There is more nuance involved in attracting guests when they have so many cookie cutter properties to choose from.
