Central Florida and Florida in general over the last 10 years saw a lot of bad actors in the roofing and insurance adjusting space promising homeowners they could get them a free roof if they would assign their benefits to them and then filing roof damage claims after any kind of storm event and if the insurance companies denied the claim then filing lawsuits.

And believe me Sub too deals go bad and there are a lot of crappy actors in that niche.. they get control and rip rents and never pay your clients mortgage.. your client does not have the means to protect themselves and the non profit is not going to have the funds to follow these.Like I said I simply do not believe that a non profit would engage in this type of transaction..

They get rich, screw up the courts, rub elbows with other big players, scheme even more and write more laws which gets them richer.In this case, these bad actors who are using other Landlord's apts to get rich are creating HUGE problems for themselves and the LANDLORD.We can get caught up and have to spend money on attorneys to defend ourselves because we will be named in the Law Suit by NYC as if we were accomplishes.
