If the storage tenant kept dangerous chemicals, explosives, etc. there you, of course, will have significant liability particularly if you do this in violation of law.

The cost of this will not only be filling the pool, but the constant maintenance (treating it with chemicals and possibly having it cleaned) and increase in insurance.

This outgass chemicals can cause headache, vomiting taking forever to get rid of it.

Some things to consider...detergents with phosphates, chemicals or heavy cleaners will harm the helpful bacteria in the septic system.

To prevent that, you have to continually put in chemicals (hundreds of dollars a year) and actually get out there and vacuum it.
