And although it's only been a month since picking up that book, I have found myself devoting a couple hours a day into this new endeavor with podcasts, articles, and webcasts.

Making a borrower feel grateful is simply part of the scam, you could give a starving person raw fish to eat and you could make them happy.

My wife called it a scam within minutes of me speaking on the research I had done, and conversations I had with there representatives/sales.  

When they contacted me prior to learning of this forum, I just assumed they were straight up scam artists.

Many transactions are hammered quietly too, do this or else and the accused party does that instead of getting hammered publicly.....Hope that helps :)Not trying to be pedantic or argumentative, but that actually doesn't help...I did a search for "predatory dealing in real estate" before my last post...I posted because the only hits I seemed to get were about predatory lending and real estate scams -- neither of which we're discussing here:https://www.google.com/search?

So many of the questions I've thought of have already been asked and answered.I've created some goals, and I've given some thought to what I would be able to devote to REI in terms of capital, time and talent.

just got introduced to the podcast, and have been devoting myself to learning about investing..

To bad there isn't any legit company out there that does this, at least I haven't found one yet, just all a bunch of scams, but after all this is America!

I have replied to a few CL ads but my instincts tell me they are probably scams.
