Hi all, Recently my SF rental property had some pipes freeze and burst, causing a considerable amount of water damage to the house.

There is ZERO chance this should be reported to landlord’s insurance unless the damage is well in excess of $10,000.

They will never be able to move all of this to their new address, and their damage deposit will never cover having to clean the place out. 

So I guess here you are keeping your promise when I wouldn’t pay for damage done to your property after a break in.

Window coverings (are there blinds that are damaged or mismatched curtains).

The other thing is I don’t believe the insurance  protection is included in the upgrade..I was reading that had to purchase separate damage insurance from Guesty??  

That being said I don’t allow any portable dishwashers or portable washing machines because we have experienced too much damage from operator error.
