Johnalyn H. Fulton County Eviction
23 January 2014 | 11 replies
No it's not incorrect. As I stated how FAST they do something after you file an action is dependant upon how backed up the Fulton county system is.You do a a 3 day notice. Then when the tenant doesn't do anything you go down and file dispo. The office takes your money and then send all the dispo's filed down to the deputies office to serve. The deputy will go out and try to serve personally. If they cannot serve personally they will tack on the door.A timeline is given to file a response. If they file a response a court date is set.If they do not file you get a writ. The writs are transferred in batches to the Marshalls office. From what you have posted they have not even served dispo notice to tenant yet or assigned a case number. You are a ways off 1 to 2 months from getting this tenant out with the process that has to be followed.Serving notices I have seen takes days to up to 3 weeks before and the writs I have seen 3 weeks up to 2 months before the Marshall is out to evict.
