If the owners fail to maintain a formal legal separation between their business and their personal financial affairs, a court could find that the corporation or LLC is really just a sham (the owners' alter ego) and that the owners are personally operating the business as if the corporation or LLC didn't exist.

Diversification is our motto when it comes to our income, and we try to incorporate that in our real estate investments as well.I personally think diversification is undervalued and not taught or applied enough when talking about concepts outside of retirement accounts, which is a shame.

We are not ashamed or embarrassed when we tell our friends, family, and fellow investors.

That would be a shame.

@Justin Foster - Yep - I think it's a shame that people get pigeon-holed into thinking that wealth building is all about income, all about frugality, all about real estate, all about index funds, all about entrepreneurship, or all about side-hustles.

This stuff is simple and the PMs involved should be ashamed of themselves.

Since it's a 1-4 unit, it would be a shame to not have that opportunity for savings.
