In our opinion, they’re very dishonest and from our experience, they won’t have your best interest in mind when it comes to property.

If she thinks you are a dishonest or unreliable landlord, then she's out and you have a vacancy to fill.  

People are just too unreliable, way too many dishonest jerks out there. 

This post was nothing about a 'hard luck story', it was about the ongoing battle with dishonest contractors and their tactics.

So I agree with @Jon Holdman most are being dishonest and hoping they don't get caught, but over time.. they usually do!

The list of violations and a quick site walk should be enough to get an estimate started.Additionally, use caution when selecting your contractor; there are a lot of great ones out there, but also a lot of dishonest people looking to take advantage of owners and make some quick money.

Not to mention dishonest and possibly illegal, if you are misrepresenting your insurance policy for your own convenience.

@Christian HutchinsonAgreed with you 100% that it's important to AVOID dishonest groups that try to brand warzone/c class properties as b class and scam out-of-state investors!

Most professionals, from attorneys all the way down to rehabbers and PM's, are fundamentally lazy and dishonest.

The place is overflowing with investors as well as dishonest contractors.
