Also I should add they are still selling new homes in that neighborhood which are about the same size on the similar size lot for around 150-170k I'm aware that homebuilders routinely hyperinflate the price of their homes but still think that if a buyer had a choice to buy a home for 115k rather than a similar one for 150k and get the same warranty it's a no brainer.

I routinely see houses listed for 10-50% above what I list my houses for, but that doesn't mean that the value of my houses are 10-50% higher.It just means that other people have no idea what their house is worth, and have priced it inappropriately.

I think there are just as many "portfolios" to mimic as there are fad diets or exercise routines out there.Of course, I haven't even gone into individual stocks, ETFs, etc.With real estate, the rules of thumb are pretty simple.

It could have been repaired, but I figured it was time.Yes, you should be flushing it out for routine maintenance, and when you do, simply look around and make sure it isn't leaking anywhere.Other than leaks in the tank, everything else is repairable.
