I joke about drinking beer and haven’t touched alcohol in 6 years so .. done things are said in light hearted manner .do watch out for drug references and ghetto culture references .

And when I tell people, I get the same old argument "Oh I just hire a PM, then I don't have to deal with it, problem solved" - and they don't realize how naive they sound...I was lucky enough that I have never made the mistake of buying in the inner city; frankly it was only because I had just arrived in the US and it was too much of a culture shock and also a language barrier - I just could not understand some people what they were telling me - so I decided to look in nicer parts of town.

I like the idea of moving somewhere...learning the area a bit, buying a property or 2 (maybe with a local partner) fixing it up and selling it over a years time while I experience the culture...and moving on.It seems completely obvious that the idea of rehabbing and reselling a deteriorated property would exist in any culture or country but I never hear about it being a thing. 

However, I also believe that culturally, there's a demand for unique experiences and the opportunity to "live like a local" vs. the sterility of a hotel room (or a hotel-provided house).  

I am currently taking classes from a very well known and national real estate agency BUT I am starting to feel that their culture might not be what I am looking for or what I had in mind.

The openness of the people to change and cultural diversity?

Our firm has an incredible culture that encourages a healthy work/life balance. 

They are purposefully working to maintain the culture of the area without running off current demographics. 

These are things near our lil slot shops but I know nothing of your neighborhood so these are pretty genericNail spa Pizza/Chinese food or some place that can give off an attractive smell of food.

And they're so cultured and polite!
