I was reluctant to go with a platform like TR at first, but they have not disappointed.

Their reasons were..1) They never sent me a copy of the lease for previous tenants, so why should they have to send me one now..2) I've worked with them for years and they're disappointed I'm asking for a lease..As a property owner, I'm entitled to see the terms in which my property is rented.

I guess the majority of the people approach any business or opportunity with a "Lottery mindset" ) excited when playing the numbers, excited all week until they give out the numbers and when they didn't win at first, they are just discouraged and disappointed. 

And if I don't compromise, they would like to break the lease.It's disappointing, and stressful for me to have to re-rent.

She, I think, is probably making in the 35-45k range and sounded somewhat disappointed.

I can understand not wanting to start over because you have invested a lot of time and love into this relationship, however, if your trying to move in a direction he does not want to go in and you are hoping he will change, then you may be setting yourself up for frustration and disappointment.

So, if you're not equipped to honestly look at that and just want to 'get in the game,' prepare to be disappointed, or worse, knocked on your butt! 

Obviously this is his test to see if his daughter's boyfriend is worthwhile, so don't disappoint!

It was disappointing to walk away, but the numbers are what they are.

That was my only thing that was disappointing.
