I prefer tourist destinations and I'm not sure if this is that.

Today I'm going to tackle this one:  "Buy only in the top tourist areas."   

Hi,A bit of a unique situation (with lots of caveats & sub-caveats) and hoping for any feedback/recommendations/legal referrals (sorry for the long post)I live in tourist destination in British Columbia and am part of a special housing purchase program waitlist with some caveats (& sub caveats) attached to the program: 1) you are not allowed to own any property/real estate whilst on the waitlist (sub caveat - unless it is under a certain sq ft which our studio is, so it is considered under housed.

If you don't know it, it's a super small tourist town about 9,000 people, huge tourist destination with beautiful red rocks.we have a great off market deal with a motivated elderly seller.

Since the Dells is a huge tourist destination it may simply be they are incredibly overwhelmed and understaffed. 

This location may not be very popular with Jewish tourists.

For better or worse its already gentrifying, there are a lot of cute New England homes waiting to be renovated, you've got the cute new town-center, and the tourist appeal of wollaston beach... it's where I'm putting my money.While the area is a bunch of families and you'll probably find plenty of wholesome renters I'm definitely with Account Closed on tenant screening, though.

I consider Tampa to be the ugly duckling of the towns around Tampa Bay because it was founded on industry and the port and not the tourist trade with the beaches.

It's also located in a historic, touristy area, so there will always be potential.Curious, how would you go about finding someone to manage a VRBO/AirBNB property when the property is not located in a well known tourist hotspot?  

Even in the highly desirable tourist areas in the old part of downtown, you meander a block in the wrong direction and you are in a war zone.
