Knowledge can build a degree of confidence but it will not be enough when supressed by shyness or a lack of assertiveness.

The flippers I've met and spoken to have told me a "paint and carpet" flip starts at around $6 a square foot for C properties (Maryvale and such) and goes up from there, depending on what it entails.
