We are looking at an Airbnb and Home Away (VRBO) strategy for our 550 sq. ft. 1 bed/1 bath third unit. local averages show we should expect to average $1400/mo. using this strategy.

@Jose Moll I would post flyers at places where you might find renters, like a laundry mat.  

It's a bit generic as far a questions go but I'm trying to get lined up now and ready when the old mouse trap of a business debt is out of my life.

Either they don't hit the million dollar mark or theres something I don't know what I'm so frustrated and confused I''m at the end of my rope.

I second @Mat O'Grady re: insurance - looks to be on the lite side. determine when the roof, windows, electrical, plumbing and kitchens/bathrooms were replaced or upgraded to get a sense of capex. also, water heaters and furnaces.

I stick with "comfort" items: towels, welcome mats, kitchen utensils, fruits, hand soap dispensers, candles, etc...

Also you can fit many more advertisers on the board with the click of a mouse.
