My favorite part is when they start going through the house and just automatically start tallying up all the upgrades at face value to their bottomline...Its so realistic to just assume you will be able to ask (and get) more for your home (despite the comps) just because of some travertine floors and bullnose sheetrock...What a joke...

It sounds like I have 2 options:1- I can put in a new 2 inch digital meter,which can download data on amount of usage, exact time of day, and constant stream of usage to automatically detect leaks (cost of a few hundred dollars)2- I can install individual meters for ever unit.

That way, I know that it's done.I also have them sign forms with electric and gas companies that authorizes the utilities to notify me if the uutilities are not being paid.We also have an automatic transfer plan that switches the utilities back to me automatically when the tenant moves.I would check to see if your utilities have any of these programs.
