I know in a couple of the podcasts and in the UBG it mentions family support is necessary if you are going to invest in real estate as it is a lot of hard work.

The group is fantastic and I love the daily interaction we have - the encouragement and support is unparalleled, to steal Anna Latysheva's phrase... it's a big group of "Yaysayers" LOLAlso I have to thank Gino Barbaro and Jake Stenziano for creating the Wheelbarrow Profits platform, putting "people first" and creating an entire community of go-givers.

I, personally, am a big advocate of BiggerPockets because of the support I received and lessons I learned. 

What you are doing (unless he is providing significant financial ability/support) is essentially giving your general contractor 1/2 ownership of your houses.

Everyone on BP is so willing to help, it’s great knowing that I have some many people with experience providing support.  I
