A lot of the members touting turn key are trying to direct you to their turnkey companies they work with and get a referral fee if you invest.

There are ways to accomplish it but the DIY tax is high.I get that with infill lots but most of the land deals I am doing are 2 million and up.. so its not cheap to get them.. but its also just completely foreign to the concepts touted on bp.. 

The two recent *threads* here on BP illustrate creative schemes I've seen touted before.

When you do come back to UT I would recommend checking out the local REIA clubs.You will be able to familiarize your self with the local style, and benefit the clubs offer.

It has also been touted lately by International Living as the world's number 1 retirement destination which has heated up the market.I've taken some hits and had a few wild-west moments here, but overall I must say that I'm enjoying the challenge and looking forward to getting better at it!

CU employee's are compensated on salary which most CU's will tout that will offer more objectivity when working with customers but the problem is if you're not incentivized and you're just running a 8-5 job then your level of advice and service are representative of that environment.

A lot of people are touting things like self-storage or mobile home parks. 

I was pretty damn sure of the answer, but to have an experienced agent throw that bullsh@t out there.. threw me off a bit.
