My wife used to be a grant writer for her tribe here in SC.

Auto-Owners will write really well in central, but hard to through underwriting (walk on water type business), Universal will do a great job just about anywhere in FL.  

I got into the oil & gas industry as a technical writer, and did that full-time until the market crashed in early 2015.

I'm a freelance writer, journalist and blogger covering various aspects of the commercial real estate industry, from developing, to legislation, to tips and tricks, to markets to investing and more.

I would like to think by following the strategy of one of the writers above - giving each transaction more priority and attention than if it were your own. 

Some of it is quite specific to the area the writer invests in, but a lot of the ideas are applicable to lower class properties, and get you thinking about things differently (at least for me).We have started pulling out carpet and replacing with laminate or vinyl planks.  

Would the bond writer want the deed as collateral against the bond?

I include utilities in rent, but have a cap writer in the contract that if utilities go above that, they pay for whatever above that pre-set number, so far so good
